Why Use Our Version?

1. Easy And CONVENIENT

All the formularies shared in our weekly newsletter or found in our online library are in easy to print files that fit one normal sized piece of paper. This makes them easy to print and easy to use in the liturgy by either keeping the sheet in a pulpit or placed in a binder. The sheets are also designed in black and red with a format imitating the standard format of liturgical books. This makes them easy to navigate and read from.

2. Integrated with Mass Texts

Most of our formularies are designed to be used with specific Mass propers (the prayers found in the Missal for specific days). The formularies sometimes use language borrowed from the prayers of the Mass and other times they use language that fits the theme of the day.

Occasionally we also provide formularies for Days of Prayer and Special Observances. As there are no specific Mass propers for these days, the formularies for these days draw upon the general theme of the day and magisterial texts related to the event.

3. Adaptable

While each formulary we produce is designed to be complete and ready to go, our files are available in an editable format if you wish to make changes. We recommend that you seek to preserve the flow of the prayers if you make changes. You can learn more about how to adapt our formularies on the instructions page.

4. Liturgically Sound

Each of our formularies are composed using the guidelines set forth in the General Instruction of the Roman Missal. This includes the overall three part structure and the ordering of intention subject matter. We model our formularies after the ones found in appendix V of the Roman Missal titled "Examples of Formularies for the Universal Prayer."
